Our principal areas of research include democracy and governance, human rights and law, African development and public policy, peace and security, migration, regional affairs and international relations.

Our Purpose

The Professor Talent Rusere Research Institute exists to advance research knowledge and strengthen intellectual discourse on Africa's governance, development and human rights challenges.

Peace, Migration and Regional Affairs — investigating migration, displacement, xenophobia, peacebuilding, regional mobility, diplomacy, conflict prevention and the political and socioeconomic relationships connecting African states and their peoples.
